Custom Spandex Costume Design + Body Sketch

I believe that fashion and costuming cannot be one size fits all. Bodies come in different shapes and sizes, so drawing a design on a stick figure model or superman cartoon mannequin will never be a good indicator as to whether or not the design will work for YOU as an individual. (Or as a team!)

That's why I start the design process by tracing a recent photo of your body to use as the base for my designs. Not only are you paying for the drawing of the design to have sent to your preferred costume maker, but you are also paying for my experience and design sensibilities. My goal is to make you stand out, to give you the most flattering design for your body that will accentuate your best features and disguise your insecurities. I may push you to consider more interesting colors, suggest you put your name somewhere on the design, or even talk you into/out of a particular cut/theme.

This option is not for those who want to get something re-drawn that was made in a WWE 2k character builder or simple black and white trunks. The more freedom you give me to design something truly special, the better your project will turn out. I've dressed dozens of pro wrestlers, dancers, and cosplayers and they will all tell you I have your best interest at heart.

I also am happy to design for a team/stable and try to make the group's looks cohesive but highly individualized. Unfortunately due to the nature of the process, I can't reduce my fee for additional team mates, thank you for understanding.

Not sure where to go to get gear made once it's designed? Don't worry! I have a network of talented makers I can refer you to that will give you quotes to help you make your design come to life.

When you purchase this package, the process goes like this:

1) We find the time for an initial call (or text message meeting if you prefer) to talk over your costuming ideas and logistical needs (budget, colors, theme, etc). If you have sketches, references, logos, etc or something else in mind that you need digitized + included, this is when you'd send that along for review. 

2) I will need your body reference photo, I will send you more details about what I need from you in our initial meeting. If you have selected multiple views for this design, you will need to send multiple photos 

3) I will send you 2-5 variation sketches for you to choose from before getting into the detail work of the design.

4) I may follow up via email/message to iron out some specific details and get your opinions

5) I send you a water-marked semi-finalized image for your approval. If edits are needed, we can make minor changes.

6) When your design is approved, I will export the high res + detailed spec of the design for your sewist/costumer to complete, including fabric suggestions w/ links to purchase, materials list, and your relevant measurements included

Bonus: if you want the design artwork exported for use on merch, prints, etc, you can license the commercial rights to the artwork for $20 per image and I will re-export it for you in a format better for use in print.
